Providing a single source of truth for data is invaluable to a loan officer. Encompass is simply not built to be an effective contact management platform. Our historic sync functionality will bring over years of past client data, providing loan officers a zero-effort method of getting their book of business into Lendware.
With live-loan updates from Encompass, combined with our robust automations feature, loan officers can say goodbye to busywork, as loan updates to borrowers and realtors can be triggered by nearly unlimited criteria.
Before an individual user can integrate with Encompass, their organization must reach out to their assigned Implementation Consultant or Customer Success Manager so we can gather information to connect the organization’s Encompass Instance to Lendware. This process requires action from Ellie Mae, and usually takes 5-10 business days.
Once the organization’s Encompass Instance is integrated, team members can link their Encompass User ID on any team of which they are a member.

When a user’s Encompass ID is integrated, we immediately run a historic sync, during which we fetch all loans and related contacts that have been updated within the specified number of months (specification set at the enterprise level).
After the historic sync, there are two trigger events in Encompass: Create Loan and Change Loan.
